WOMEN’S SOCCER SPECIFIC HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAMMING WITH PIERRE SOUBRIER AND TEAM
(August 10, 2023). TLH Reckoning announced an unheard of level of player development investment with professional-level resources and expertise ready to support and guide their athletes. Seasoned women’s soccer sports medicine and performance specialist, Pierre Soubrier, to lead as High Performance Advisor.
Originally from the Ivory Coast in Western Africa, Pierre has developed a long-standing and successful career that initially started out at Yale University. He has worked with the Washington Spirit, Colorado Rapids, and the Portland Thorns, supporting the top women soccer players in the world and collecting a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) championship along the way. While utilizing his robust professional network Soubrier will specifically advise the Reckoning on high performance programming and provide expert advice to players, coaches and staff with the overall goal of helping the athletes learn to perform to the best of their ability.
“I am super excited to be involved with the Reckoning as we work to bring a high performance soccer environment to the Tallahassee area,” said Pierre Soubrier, TLH Reckoning High Performance Advisor. “It’s a special feeling when you get involved with great people for the right reasons and the Reckoning is just that: challenging the status quo in bringing the highest standards of soccer to their local market. In my quest to continue push the women’s game forward, this project made sense. These young female athletes need a solution in that area to reach their fullest potential and the Reckoning is shaping up to be the answer.”
In addition to Pierre, the Reckoning announced Dwan Riggins as the Strength and Conditioning Coach, Emily Bearden as the Sports Nutritionist and Rachel Sullivan as the Program Assistant. TLH Reckoning has also landed partnerships with Bridge Athletics, Kitman Labs, Playermaker and Catapult. The Reckoning will continue to build their team of experts with a Sports Psychologist, Data Analysts and a Medical Network.
“We are making a massive investment in our girls. One that is overdue. One that is more than deserved,” said Ashlee Fontes, TLH Reckoning Founder and CEO. “A huge debt of gratitude and appreciation to Pierre for stepping up, helping advise us and believing in what we’re doing. He is an incredible asset and well-versed at all levels of the women’s game. We are beyond fortunate to have him advising us and as part of our team!”
Last week, the Reckoning announced Women and Girls in Soccer (WAGS) as an Impact Sponsor. The sizable 5-figure monetary investment that WAGS contributed helps afford the ability to acquire such high-level women soccer specific development resources for the players. The return on investment for WAGS and other Reckoning sponsors will be immeasurable because their impact will never die out.
